This is a tiny book, called a Collins Gem, at only 4.6 X 3.2, but it contains an extraordinarily large amount of information about pirates. So, if you’ve ever wished to have everything there is to know about pirates always at your fingertips, this little treasure can slip easily into pocket or purse. It’s handy for trips to the doctor, mechanic, and other places where you never know how long you’ll have to wait. Plus, it may get you in and out quicker if someone notices you’re studying up on pirate fighting strategies and techniques. For a larger, desktop edition, you can also purchase it in a 7.3 X 5.2 copy. Either will supply you with pirate facts, history, superstitions, lore, lists of the most famous pirates, and a sprinkling of phrases and terms to keep you jawing along with the best of them on talk like a pirate day, which comes around every September 19th. It’s creeping up on us fast, so belay that procrastination, grab this book, and buck up on your pirate lingo, me hearties!
