Seriously, if you need, for any reason (I won’t even ask) to talk like a pirate, this is the one and only book you need. It is 469 pages of pure, valuable information and endless pirate facts. For writers, it is an essential work that absolutely must be on your reference shelf, because you know, at some point, we’ll all write about pirates. And, yes, my time for that has come, so don’t be surprised to see the review of yet another pirate book or two in the upcoming weeks.
THE PIRATE PRIMER is one of those books that, sitting on your coffee table, will generate the most interesting conversations. It’s also a great one to have nearby to pick up and thumb through in idle moments or any time the urge strikes. We have always been fascinated with pirates, so you may as well have your facts straight. This book greatly stimulated the Lycan Librarian’s imagination, and will do likewise for all you sons of a sea hag.
